Information You Submit
Search forms transmit the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that supplies results. We do not save a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us includes only what its sender chooses to provide, and we use that material to answer the inquiry.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and identify useful pages. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those features apply.
How the Data Is Used
Technical and message data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, page improvement, and direct replies. We neither sell a visitor list nor construct an individual profile from site use.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, California and county offices, library catalogs, and outside search services set their own privacy terms. Their policies govern information entered after following a link. Sponsored results are also supplied by a separate company whose data practices are independent from ours.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors may process logs for us. Analytics or advertising services may receive the automatic technical data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Information
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated uses. Because visitors do not create accounts here, the site holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if someone under 18 submitted such information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, grants qualifying consumers rights concerning personal information held by covered businesses. Those rights can include access, correction, deletion, and limits on sale or sharing. Use the Contact page to ask us to search our mailbox and available logs. Government records held by the City of San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California agencies, or courts remain outside our control, so correction or access requests for those records must go to the custodian.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will appear here when terms change. Continued site use after publication indicates acceptance of the updated version.
